Volunteer To Make A Difference!
The programs, fundraisers, special events and other activities that Morse PTO supports each year are only possible because of the Morse parents and caregivers who generously donated their time, talents and resources. We are truly grateful for their commitment and contributions to making our efforts a success. Together, we make Morse amazing!
Featuring our most urgent volunteer needs
Trivia Night Committee Members
We need you to assist with possibly the most anticipated event of the year! This adults-only fundraising event includes a trivia contest and silent/live auction. The committee helps solicit donations and coordinates the details and logistics like theme, décor, food, volunteers, etc... This event raised the most funds for PTO in 2019 ($10,800) and because this is a parents-only event, it is essential to strengthening community spirit among our Morse parents. There is no need to go it alone--ask a friend to share in the work and the fun! Sign up here
Carnival/Fun Run Committee Members
We'd love to have you help plan the annual Morse Carnival and Fun Run. This beloved event is the ultimate end-of-year, family celebration. You'll coordinate with multiple outside vendors, secure necessary permits, pre-sell tickets/ wristbands, recruit adult and student volunteers to assist with the attractions and meals and much more! Contribute Even More By Joining A Committees or Special Programs
Are you interested in contributing to Morse PTO beyond volunteering 2 hours during the school year? If you'd like to become more involved, please consider leading or supporting a committee with your time, talents and resources.
Morse PTO coordinates several projects, community events, fundraisers and special programs each year and we need MANY volunteers to make these activities successful. We would love to have your help. Read more about committee and special program volunteer roles here and sign up below.
Take Our 2 Hours of Power Volunteer Challenge
We encourage you to volunteer for just 2 hours over the course of the school year to help make Morse remarkable. If everyone completes this challenge, we will have shown our kids over 1,000 hours of community service!
We have opportunities for everyone: at school, in the evening, on the weekends, from home, over the phone, via email, at the computer. Check out some examples of our volunteer opportunities

Volunteer Myths Busted!!!
Myth: PTO is just for stay-at-home moms.
FACT: PTO is for everyone. Our volunteers are moms, dads, grandparents and other caregivers. Our volunteers stay-at-home, work part-time, work full-time, have kids of all ages, are continuing their own education and more.
Myth: PTO has all the help they need.
FACT: We need volunteers all year long. We need help with special events, fundraisers, monthly jobs, one-time tasks and many others. The bottomline is we need you.
Myth: Volunteering for the PTO takes too much time.
FACT: Only YOU can decide how much time you can give. Even if you can help at just one event or handle one task per year, it would be greatly appreciated.
Myth: PTO volunteers need to be at the school during the day.
FACT: Much of the PTO work can be done on your own schedule from home, in the evening or on weekends. Yes, there is some volunteering during the school day. But no one does it all, so choose what works best for you.
Myth: PTO has the same volunteers every year and everyone knows each other.
FACT: We welcome and absolutely need new volunteers every year. Yes, we are fortunate to have dedicated volunteers who return each year, but there are plenty of new faces and volunteering is a great way to meet other Morse parents.
