VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT
Morse PTO is looking to fill the following positions immediately. Help with "Five Schools, One Family" Trunk or Treat We are in need of one or two families who can decorate a vehicle for the Five Schools, One Family Trunk-or-Treat on Wednesday, October 12th at 5:30pm. Arrive at BVSW at 5:00pm, and our Five School, One Family representative Sara Knag will give you the candy and help you with the event. Get your students to join in the fun too! Interested? Email Sara Knag for more details or to volunteer. Be a Part of Five Schools, One Family Homecoming Tailgate Five Schools, One Family will have its own tailgate section at the BVSW Homecoming game on Friday, October 14th. We need a volunteer who will wear the Morse Marksman costume from 6:00-6:30pm. In addition, we need two adult volunteers to pass out candy at the Morse tailgating table from 5:30-6:45pm. Email Sara Knag for more details or to volunteer. Help NEEDED with Morse Musicals Some of you have never seen a Morse production, but trust us when we say that Ms. Morrison and the students put on an amazing show! We are STILL looking for someone (or a group) who can help Ms. Morrison with the grade performances: gather supplies, help with stage decoration and performance prep, and organize the seat raffle. Click the Sign-Up Genius to help Morse bring back these grade-level performances. Be a Marksman this Coming Monday Do you have 15 minutes on a Monday morning to bring smiles to the Morse community? We need a Morse Marksman for this coming Monday (October 3rd). Can't do it this Monday? Check out the Sign-Up Genius to get your turn. Morse Movie Night Coming Up Soon Remember that Friday, October 7th is Morse Movie Night, presenting The Bad Guys. Bring blankets, flashlights, bug spray, and lawn chairs to enjoy a night under the stars with the Morse community. Popcorn and candy will be for sale. Showtime begins at 7:15pm. Morse PTO suggests a donation of $20/family for the event. Click here to RSVP! Plan to Attend the Homecoming Bonfire/Trunk or Treat Help celebrate Homecoming Week with a special night of fun for the whole family at BVSW on Wednesday, October 12th. Trunk-or-Treat kicks off at 5:30pm. In addition, enjoy food trucks, yard games, inflatables, dunk tank, and face painting. The fire and pep rally begin at 7:45pm. |

First Morse Skate Night Coming Up Join us on Thursday, October 13th from 6-8pm at Skate City in Overland Park for a rollin' good time. Click on the image to get all the details regarding price, rentals, dinner, and more! Spirit Wear Will Be in Soon Thanks to everyone who ordered Morse spirit wear. Spirit Wear orders are in production and will hopefully be in within the next few weeks. As a reminder, spirit wear will be delivered to the school and sent home with your student. Help Us Hit the Mark: Donate to Take Stock We are still working to hit our $8,000 goal for Take Stock. Teachers and staff will be submitting grants soon. Help us reach our goal by donating to Take Stock through ParentVue or Venmo (@MorseElementary-PTO). |
