VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT
Morse PTO is looking to fill the following positions immediately. Help Us Fill All Room Parent Positions Help your student's teacher with the three class parties this year. We still need Room Parents for the following teachers: Haught, Roberts, and Willcott. Click here to volunteer. Marksman Movie Night Committee You said it, and we heard it: our community wants a family-friendly movie night! Morse PTO is working to secure the date, time, and equipment for this fun community-building event. However, we could use some volunteers. Do you know where to get a large amount of popcorn? Do you like to organize? Do you have ideas about the event? We would love your help. Click the Sign-Up Genius to sign up. Bring Back the Morse Musicals Some of you have never seen a Morse production, but trust us when we say that Ms. Morrison and the students put on an amazing show! We are looking for someone who can help Ms. Morrison with the grade performances: gather supplies, help with stage decoration and performance prep, and organize the seat raffle. Click the Sign-Up Genius to help Morse bring back these grade-level performances. We Need Marksman Monday Mascot Volunteers Did you get a picture with our Morse Marksman at School Supply Drop Off Night? Currently we are looking for Morse parents who can spare 15 minutes on a Monday morning to don the Marksman suit and help the community start the week off right. Check out the Sign-Up Genius to get your turn. Take a look at all of our volunteer needs by checking out our 2022-2023 Morse PTO Events Sign-Up . Volunteering is a great way to build community and have input in your student's elementary school experience. Questions? Please feel free to email us. |

GOOD TO KNOW
Five Schools, One Family For the past few years, the Five Schools, One Family initiative has sought to bring together the BV Southwest community by focusing on activities that unite the five schools in the family: Morse, Timbercreek, Wolf Springs, Aubry Bend, and Southwest. Check out the image to see what is going on at BVSW this week! Help By Taking Stock in Morse If you have yet to donate to Take Stock, you still have time! Remember that we do not do traditional fundraisers that ask you to sell wrapping paper or cookie dough. Instead, we ask parents and caregivers to fulfill teacher and staff grant requests: 100% of your Take Stock in Morse donation goes directly back into the classroom in the form of resources, educational materials, innovative programming, and cutting-edge technology. Teachers and staff will be submitting grants next month. You can donate to Take Stock through ParentVue.
