DON'T FORGET
Five Schools, One Family Initiative Together with the Blue Valley South West PTO and PTO/PTAs from Aubry Bend Middle School and its feeder elementary schools, Morse PTO is working on a new initiative--Five Schools, One Family. The goal is to build a sense of community, from our high school down to the elementary schools so everyone is excited and proud to be a (future) Timberwolf! How to cheer on BVSW Timberwolves this week! The Five Schools, One Family Committee is selling community spirit T-shirts. Proceeds from shirt sales will go toward putting together community-building events and Morse PTO will receive $1 of every shirt sale. Order your T-shirt here. **The FINAL order deadline is Friday, September 20th.** Hey, Please Give Us A "Like"
We've started our own Facebook page! Don't worry you'll still get all the PTO news you need via our other communications methods, but having our own Facebook page, separate from the school's Facebook page, allows us to give you the inside scoop on all things PTO. Please give us a "like" @MorseElementaryPTO |
GOOD TO KNOW
Spirit Wear Is For Sale Don't miss out! Spirit wear items are available to order online through midnight on October 1st. Students and Staff are encouraged to wear their spirit wear to show their Morse pride because, after all, It's a great day to be Marksman! You’ve Got Mail Planning for our fall fundraisers is in full swing--please keep an eye out for the following items in your Inbox or your child's backpack:
Something To Talk About Not only are we hosting Celebrate Calm presentations for parents, but our kids will attend an assembly hosted by Kirk Martin's son, Casey. He will challenge students to control their own emotions and impulses, and take responsibility for their lives. Students will go home with specific conversations to have with their parents, siblings, and friends--why not attend one of the Celebrate Calm presentations yourself so you'll be familiar with the techniques and can discuss the topic with your child?!?! ![]() "Hearing Kirk Martin speak is something you do not want to miss! He is one of the most engaging, helpful speakers I have ever heard. You will walk away with skills on how to change your behavior because we can control ourselves and when we do so we can change our children’s behavior. We can learn positive ways to help our kids. I cannot wait to hear him again and am so thankful that our PTO is providing this for our families." --Sara Knag, Morse mom
**As of 9/18/19, Wednesday's evening presentation is at 50% capacity and Thursday's morning presentation is already over 70% full.** Learn more about our FREE presentations and reserve your spot today! |
