DON'T FORGET
"Five Schools, One Family" Drive Thru Trick or Treat
On Friday, October 30th, the "Five Schools, One Family" initiative is hosting a fun and safe way for your family to celebrate the Halloween season. Put on your Halloween spirit and head to BVSW for a howling good time.

COMING SOON:  Student Directory
One of the perks of being a Morse PTO member is receiving the Student Directory. Because Morse teachers and staff cannot give out students' contact information, the Student Directory is the ONLY way you can access students' emails, addresses and phone numbers. Pay your PTO Membership fee today to snag this invaluable resource coming soon!

Book Fair Begins Next Week
This year the Morse Elementary book fair will be a virtual event! Click on Follett Book Fair link between November 2 and November 13 to shop for all of the favorite book-lovers in your life.  If your student is virtual and with a teacher who is not at Morse, please put Morse librarian Kate Pommerenke in for delivery, and we will have a pick up day once books arrive.

GOOD TO KNOW
Stay Tuned for the Gingerbread Project
Each holiday season Mrs. Mulholland hosts a special project that reminds us we are one family, one community. The Gingerbread Project looks to help those Morse families who may need extra assistance during the holiday season. As this year has been particularly difficult, please reach out by emailing Mrs. Mulholland if you or someone you know could use some extra Marksman support during this time of year. All gift giving and receiving is kept confidential.

How You Can Help TODAY
As we march through this challenging time TOGETHER, here are the current ways you can help support your child's teacher and the Morse Community TODAY:
  • Purchase something from the teacher's Amazon Wishlist. Check out Morse staff wishlists here.
  • Go on a scavenger hunt for Clorox wipes and Germ X or Purell hand sanitizer. As teachers work to keep our students healthy, they are quickly going through these supplies. If you are out and happen to see these brands, grab one for your child's teacher and send it in. The teachers will be so thankful.
  • Check your child's school supplies.  As students are carrying their supplies to specials such as art or Spanish, they may be going through markers and crayons quicker than usual. Ask your student if he or she needs refills on certain colors. Also, please make sure your student takes a reusable water bottle to school each day.
  • Give grace. While wishlists and hand sanitizer are nice, ultimately what the Morse staff needs is your understanding, patience, and encouraging words. Conferences are a great time to provide that support. Remember that we are all navigating challenges as best we can during these times.
