2 HOURS OF POWER VOLUNTEER CHALLENGE
You Can Do It: Sign up as an Event Chair Today! Thank you to those who have volunteered to serve on one of our event committees. We are still looking for committee chairs for Mother/Son, Daddy/Daughter, and Trivia Night. Please consider taking lead on one of these, or grab a friend to co-chair the event. The Morse PTO board will support you and serve as a resource during the planning process if you need it. If you cannot chair, please consider signing up to help us fill the committees. Get more details about these needs or sign up here. It's Getting Colder: Put on a Giant Marksman Costume to Stay Warm We are still looking for parents who can volunteer one Monday morning to don the Marksman mascot suit and kick a week of learning off right! Visit the Sign Up Genius to pick your Monday or get more information about volunteering. |
DON'T FORGET
Staff Favorite Things Lists are on the PTO Website As we head into holiday season, don't forget that we have Morse staff's favorite things up on the Morse PTO website. You can access the Favorite Things lists here. Thank You For Supporting Teachers And Staff Through Take Stock in Morse We'd like to extend a BIG THANK YOU to those of you who have donated to Take Stock in Morse. There is still time to contribute! You can donate through ParentVue or by returning the form sent home with your student last week. |

Raise Money for Morse at Fajita Pete's Plan to skip cooking dinner on Thursday, October 28 to celebrate Morse Spirit Night at Fajita Pete's at 8909 W. 135th St. Overland Park. Order at least 24 hours in advance to pick up the delicious Fajitas for 4 or La Familia for 6. Morse earns 20% of the sales from the event, so enjoy good food for a good cause. You can order online here. Costume Parade and Fall Parties The Costume Parade is back: yay for returning Morse traditions! Plan to stand OUTSIDE of Morse on Friday, October 29th at 2:30pm to watch students parade by in their costumes. While parents are still not permitted in the building for parties, each teacher has a Room Parent(s) this year who is busy planning a fun fall party that will be sent in for the class.
