2 HOURS OF POWER VOLUNTEER CHALLENGE
MOST IMMEDIATE NEED: Book Fair Volunteers

We still need a few volunteers to make sure the Book Fair runs successfully. We need help at the registers on several days/evenings and with tear down on Friday morning. Please give your time if you can! See vacancies and sign up here

**Trivia Night & Carnival/Fun Run Chairs need to be secured by  DECEMBER 1 or the Morse PTO Board will vote on cancelling these events** Read more about why cancellation is a possibility here.
​Trivia Night Chair(s) 
Spearhead possibly the most anticipated event of the year! We've already booked the venue-Camelot Ballroom--and secured the emcee. With the help of a committee, your main job is to secure donations and plan logistics. Recruit a friend to co-chair and share in the work and the fun! Get more details or sign up here

Carnival/Fun Run Chair(s) 
Help plan the annual Morse Carnival and Fun Run on Friday, May 1. The Morse grounds have already been reserved and so have many of the games, inflatables and table items. You'll coordinate with multiple outside vendors, secure necessary permits, pre-sell tickets/ wristbands, recruit adult and student volunteers to assist with the attractions and meals and much more! Get more details or sign up here

Book Fair Family Night: Hot Chocolate Bar and Cookies
This year, the Book Fair is hosting a Family Night featuring a Hot Chocolate Bar from  5:30-7:30pm on Thursday, November 14. Shop for books and then enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and cookies.

Daddy Daughter Dance Last Minute Details
Place: Camelot Ballroom, 6635 151st St, Overland Park, KS 66223 
Time: 7-9pm
Masquerade Mask Pick-Up:
  • If you ordered a masquerade mask, you may pick them at Camelot Ballroom when the Dance begins at 7:00pm 
  • Masquerade mask may be purchased night of dance. $15.00 for each additional mask purchased (while supplies last)
Raffle Ticket:  
  • Pre-ordered raffle tickets will be sent home the week of 11/11
  • It does not matter what the front of the raffle ticket says.  Tickets that say "Keep this coupon" are the same as the other tickets.
  • Please arrive at the Dance with your daughter’s FIRST and LAST name written on the back of each raffle ticket.
  • Additional raffle tickets may be purchased night of dance ($1.00 for each raffle ticket)
Dance Ticket: 
  • If you have not previously purchased tickets to the Dance, tickets can be purchased at the door. ($50.00 Daddy/Daughter + $15.00 for each additional daughter)

​Blue Valley Bond 2020

On December 11, we invite all Morse parents to attend a presentation about Bond 2020. The short presentation will be held in the Morse Gym between Food for Folks and the Choir performance.

The Blue Valley community will have an opportunity to vote to issue 
$186,835,000 in bonds  for 
investment in facilities, safety and technology in Blue Valley schools. Blue Valley’s Board of Education approved a resolution for a January 2020 mail-ballot election that will be a no tax rate increase for Blue Valley taxpayers. Investing in quality public schools maintains strong property values and provides a positive economic impact. Read more about Bond 2020 here or visit the Bond 2020 web site.

We look forward to treating Morse girls and their dads (grandpas, uncles, or family friend) to a very special evening.

Food For Folks/Bond 2020 Talk/Choir Performance/PTO General Meeting--Wednesday, December 11, starting at 7:45am in the Morse Gym
This jam-packed morning kicks off with Food for Folks followed by a brief presentation about the Blue Valley School District bond issue set to go to vote in January 2020. Next is a performance by the Morse choir and the morning concludes with a PTO General Meeting. Hope you can make it!
