VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT
Spend Some Time in the Owl's Garden This Summer We are excited to bring back the OWLS garden to Morse students. The vegetable and flower garden was planted recently, and we need your help maintaining it during the summer break. This is a great opportunity to teach your kids about plants, where food comes from, and how to care for growing things. We are looking for a different family to care for the garden each week. All the tools, supplies, and garden to-do list (weeding, watering, harvesting) will be provided. Questions? Email Tara Spilker. Click here to volunteer today! One MORse PTO Position to Fill: VP Social Activities VP Social Activities: This position helps to establish a balanced social event calendar by communicating with event chairs/committees. This person does NOT have to plan these events. In addition, this position welcomes new families and encourages PTO membership by sending out a welcome letter at the beginning of the year (and as needed throughout the year) as well as attending new family events, such as Kindergarten Coffee, as schedule allows. This position can be learned quickly and is a great opportunity to get to know more Morse families. Find a Way to Volunteer NEXT year: Looking for Family Fun Night Chair! The Morse PTO is already planing for next year. Check out our 2023-2024 Morse PTO Events Sign-Up to figure out how you can help. Specifically, we are looking for someone to chair our Family Fun Night, which typically takes place in the fall. This past year it was at Main Event; however, we are open to new ideas! Please consider volunteering, so we can lock down dates for the 2023-2024 school year. Volunteering is a great way to build community and have input in your student's elementary school experience. Questions? Please feel free to email us. |

Put your Student's Field Trip Shirt in a Safe Spot for Summer Remember that your student's field trip shirt this year will be used again next year.
