2 HOURS OF POWER VOLUNTEER CHALLENGE
Volunteer for Next Year We appreciate all of you who have volunteered your time and talents by signing up to join a committee or lead an event this year. In order to keep the fun rolling next year, we NEED VOLUNTEERS. Check out our 2022-2023 Morse PTO Events Sign-Up to figure out how you can help. Volunteering is a great way to build community and have input in your student's elementary school experience. Questions? Please feel free to email us. |
DON'T FORGET
THANK YOU to the Carnival Committee and Volunteers What an awesome return of carnival! Morse families enjoyed bounce houses, games, food trucks and more thanks to the Carnival Committee. The committee would like to thank Principal Defries, Ms. Morrison, and Nurse Bell for their dunk tank time. In addition, a huge thank you goes out to all of our Morse/ABMS/BVSW volunteers who worked the event. We are thankful for our Five Schools, One Family community! What a FUN Mother-Son Bowling Night Morse PTO has brought the fun to the Morse community this last nine weeks, and the Mother-Son Event was no exception! The Morse PTO Board would like to thank the Mother-Son committee for their hard work. The committee snapped many pictures of the night, which are now available using the QR code attached to this week's What's Up newsletter email. Congratulations to Our Scholarship Winner This year's winner of the Morse Elementary PTO Scholarship is Andrew Farrell. Each year we ask the recipient to create a video to tell a little bit about himself or herself. You can check out Andrew's video here. Know that your PTO dues help to fund this special scholarship each year. We couldn't do it without YOU! Still Time to Welcome Back Teachers Next Year After two years with a virtual "Rally in the Valley" to kick off the school year, our Blue Valley staff is ready to rally in-person again. This year's theme is "Here Comes the Sun" and what better way to spread a little sunshine than to thank Blue Valley staff. We are asking district students and parents to share a note of thanks or appreciation that will be used as part of the rally decorations in August. Simply write a brief message in marker/Sharpie on an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper (horizontal orientation please). Take a picture of your message and send it to Brianne Childers at blchilders@bluevalleyk12.org. Submissions will be accepted through the summer. We Appreciate Our PTO Volunteers For all who have helped our Morse PTO in some way this year, be on the lookout for a token of our appreciation coming home soon. We are so thankful for the time and effort you put into the Morse Community to make it amazing! Way to Step Up for the Kids Against Hunger Community Service Project We love our Morse community! Over the course of 4 days, you helped Mrs. Mulholland raise the $2000 we still needed to pack 25,000 meals for Kansas City area food pantries. We look forward to working alongside you in service on May 20th! |
