Mother/Son, Daddy/Daughter, Trivia Night, and Carnival committees are all up and running. Do you want to help with one of these spring events? Sign up here or email us. We need Marksman Mascot for Feb 7! Students and caregivers alike have enjoyed the school spirit of our Marksman mascot on Monday mornings. We currently have no one signed up for Monday, February 7th. Daddy/Daughter Dance RESCHEDULED With the surge in Covid cases over the holidays, Morse PTO has decided to move the Daddy-Daughter dance from February 12th to April 30th. We are committed to hosting safe, fun events for Morse families and are staying vigilant to the dynamic conditions in our community. Thank you for your understanding and stay tuned for more details soon! Blue Valley Educational Foundation (BVEF) Hosts Battle of the Bands The Blue Valley Educational Foundation (BVEF) is holding its 10th Anniversary Battle of the Bands at RC's Back Door and Grill (330 E. 135th, Martin City) on February 26, 2022. The doors open at 5:00 pm, and the bands start at 6:00. Get your business or a group of friends to sponsor or reserve a table for the night. Individual tickets can be purchased here. Morse will be donating a basket (min. $200 value), and we are requesting gift cards to local restaurants or entertainment. If you have connections to local establishments and can get a gift card donated, please email Brooke Johnson at bemery01@gmail.com for the Non-Profit Tax ID , collection arrangements, or to follow up with questions. |

Get Ready for "Night at the Movies" Morse PTO Trivia Night Our favorite staff and caregiver night out is returning! Grab seven of your friends to celebrate "Night at the Movies", and come dressed as the cast of your favorite movie! Trivia Night will be held on Friday, April 8th at the Camelot Ballroom. Invitations to follow soon with more info. Trivia Night is Morse's PTO largest fundraiser of the year: this year we will be raising money for new basketball and soccer goals on the playground. Please see the sign-up form to donate items to the silent auction, join the fun on the committee, or volunteer your time the day/night of the event. Questions? Contact Mindi Leftwich. Want to Help with Carnival? The Carnival Committee has its next meeting on Saturday, January 29th at 2:00pm at the boardroom at the Olathe Indian Creek Library. The committee is still looking for a few more people to help. Come meet some Morse parents and help this beloved Morse tradition return in May! Questions? Contact Denise Todd. Do You Know an Incoming Kinder Marksman? Morse administrators and staff are already preparing for the next school year. At this time the school district is seeking to determine approximate numbers for kindergarten next year as well as gather contact information to reach kinder guardians about important upcoming registration dates and activities. Please fill out this questionnaire if you have an incoming kindergartener, or pass along the information if you know someone who will have a kinder at Morse next year. Look for Take Stock Donation Tax Receipt Letters Take Stock Donation Tax Receipt letters will be mailed out this week. Look for yours in the mailbox. Class Valentine's Day Parties--Monday, February 14th This year's Valentine's Day parties will look a lot like the other parties this year. You may be asked to contribute something to your student's celebration. Be on the lookout for emails from your student's teacher or room parent. PTO General Meeting--Thursday, February 24th Join us for our next general PTO meeting to learn more about what we are doing, give your input, and hear from a guest speaker on a topic voted on by our Morse community. Kindergarten Round Up--Friday, April 8th Join us for our next general PTO meeting to learn more about what we are doing, give your input, and hear from a guest speaker on a topic voted on by our Morse community. Morse PTO Trivia Night--Friday, April 8th, Camelot Ballroom Join us for an evening of trivia, fun, and fundraising! This year's theme is "Night at the Movies". Get your babysitters now, and look for more information soon! Daddy/Daughter Dance--Saturday, April 30th, Camelot Ballroom Mark your calendars!
