2 HOURS OF POWER CHALLENGE
Volunteer to Request Donations for Trivia Night The Trivia Night committee has a super easy volunteer opportunity that can be done as YOUR schedule allows--asking for donations. They’ll supply the contact info and a prepared email. You’ll send email messages, coordinate responses and collect donations. Your help is greatly appreciated. Contact Anne Geisler at geisleranne@yahoo.com to get involved. Thank you! Join the Carnival Committee If you are looking for a fun volunteer opportunity, the Morse Carnival committee may be for you! They are looking for volunteers to help plan this year's event, with a variety of time commitments and talents needed. The first planning meeting will be Thursday, January 24th at 7pm at the Niermeier residence. For questions or to express interest, please contact Andrea Niermeier at 858-382-4609 or Andrea.niermeier@gmail.com |
GOOD TO KNOW
Whole, Healthy Child: Water Bottle Stations Be sure to send your kiddos to school with labeled, reusable water bottles! Over winter break, water bottle filling stations were retrofitted in to several water fountains, one in each pod and one by the gym. We hope the filling stations make keeping hydrated fun with cool technology like touchless activation (to reduce the spread of germs) and an automatic shut off (to keep the line moving). Whole, Healthy Child: Positive Messaging Funds from PTO's 2018-2019 Whole, Healthy Child campaign have been used to spread positivity throughout our school in the form of empowering messaging. Beginning in late November, inspirational sayings were added to walls in hallways, the gym, the library, on bathroom stalls and mirrors-- anywhere kids could read them--all with the intent of enhancing our children's school experience. Ask your child if he or she has a favorite school quote. See more positive messages. Trivia Night: Invites Coming Home Soon Keep an eye out in your child's back pack for this year's Trivia Night invitation. We hope you plan to attend the Friday, March 1 fundraiser with your spouse and/or a group of friends. Teams will be made up by table, so if you're competitive, start recruiting your best players! Don't worry--it's POP CULTURE trivia ;) Trivia Night: Donation Request The Trivia Night committee will soon be sending out a Sign Up Genius email kindly asking parents to make donations to this event. The evening would not be successful without your generous donations of items, experiences and adventures. Any donation, large or small, is welcomed and will make an impact. Thank you in advance for your generosity. |
