DON'T FORGET
Get Your Morse Gear for Marksmen Mondays
Have your child show his or her Marksman pride by sporting Morse spirit wear either in person or on a Zoom meeting. Visit Spirit Wear on the Morse PTO website to see the options of shirts, sweatshirts, and face masks and place your order today. The Spirit Wear Store closes on December 23 at midnight. Remember that each Monday is Marksman Monday, so lay out those Morse clothes Sunday night!

Money For Morse: AmazonSmile
As you shop for the holidays, be sure you are supporting Morse through AmazonSmile, where you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a minimum of 0.5% of the purchase price to Morse Elementary.  See how easy it is to set up AmazonSmile here.

Ways to Submit Box Tops, INCLUDING Digital Receipt Submission
Submitting Box Tops is an easy way to raise money for the Morse PTO during this difficult year. You have three ways to submit Box Tops!
Tradition Collection Method (to be phased out):
1. Clip and collect Box Tops from participating products.
2. Send them to your child’s teacher in a baggie on the 1st of every month.

Digital Collection Method:
1. Download the Box Top app
2. Follow up Sign Up instructions
3. When you see the blue Box Top label, use the Box Tops app to scan your receipt. The app will find participating products purchased at any store and instantly add cash to your school's earnings online.

Digital Receipt Submission

If you receive a digital receipt from ordering online, you can forward your receipt to receipts@boxtops4education.com using the same email you used for your Box Tops account. You can read more about submitting digital receipts here.

GOOD TO KNOW
Morse Student Directory Is OUT
All Morse PTO members receive a student directory. In-person students should have brought home a Morse directory last week. Virtual students should pick up directories at Morse Elementary today. If you have questions or are a member of the PTO but did no receive a directory, contact the Morse front office.

BVEF Surprise Squad Awards Morse Elementary
On Wednesday, December 2, 2020, the Blue Valley Educational Foundation invited representatives from Morse to celebrate at Hilltop Conference Center, and our administration received a check for $2,000. The grant will be used to fund sensory items and activities. Thank you to all who have supported the BVEF!

Take Stock Deadline Is December 31
You have until December 31, 2020 to make a donation to this year's Take Stock campaign - 100% of your Take  Stock donation goes directly back into the classroom in the form of resources, educational materials, innovative programming and cutting edge technology. Donations made toTake Stock after the deadline will be put towards the 2021 school year. You can make a donation online through ParentVue. See what's been fulfilled so far this year here.

You Can Still Help!
Remember to support our teachers as we head into the holidays:
  • Purchase something from the teacher's Amazon Wishlist. Check out Morse staff wishlists here.
  • Go on a scavenger hunt for Clorox wipes and Germ X or Purell hand sanitizer.
  • Check your child's school supplies.  Ask your student if he or she needs refills on certain colored markers or other supplies.
  • Give grace. While wishlists and hand sanitizer are nice, ultimately what the Morse staff needs is your understanding, patience, and encouraging words during this time.

SAVE THE DATE
Classroom Winter Parties--Tuesday, December 22
While parents and guardians will not be attending classroom winter parties, your help still may be needed.  Check in with your child’s teacher to see how you can assist. Donations of food, drinks, napkins, crafts, and other supplies not only help make these celebrations a success, but also ease the burden on teachers.

It's a great day to be a Marksman!
The mission of the Morse Elementary PTO is to promote and encourage a
student-centered environment with strong community connections.
