Still Seeking a Spirit Wear Coordinator
We still need someone to volunteer to be the Spirit Wear Coordinator. Last year, Spirit Wear sales earned Morse PTO $725. The approximate time commitment is 16 hours throughout the year, and the duties include working with the appareling vendor and delivering orders to teachers. We Need a Yearbook Coordinator Yearbooks are a beloved Morse tradition, but they won't happen without someone to take the lead! The Yearbook Coordinator meets with classroom volunteers to design the yearbook using online software. |
Wanted: Student Directory Coordinator
We need a volunteer to put together the Morse Student Directory, an invaluable resource! If you are computer savvy and would like to do the bulk of your volunteering independently, this is the role for you! Hey, 2nd Grade Parents--We Need You! We are looking for a second grade parent to act as a Volunteer Coordinator. This person will be responsible for recruiting other 2nd grade parents to donate and serve cookies and drinks at Back To School Night on Wednesday, August 28th. The approximate time commitment is 4 hours. |
DON'T FORGET
It's Time to Pull Out Last Year's Field Trip Shirts At the start of last school year, PTO provided each student a field trip shirt. The t-shirts are color-coded by graduation year and are intended to continue on with your child through each grade level. If your child's field trip shirt has been misplaced or outgrown, Morse PTO will take orders for new shirts at Back to School Night. The cost of a replacement shirt is $5.00, payable to Morse PTO. GOOD TO KNOW
Support Teachers And Staff Through A Donation To Take Stock in Morse Morse PTO does not ask students to fundraise. Instead, we ask you to fulfill staff grant requests by donating to Take Stock in Morse. When you pay a PTO fee or contribute to a PTO fundraiser, the funds are distributed by PTO to support specific school initiatives, but 100% of your Take Stock in Morse donation goes directly back into the classroom in the form of resources, educational materials, innovative programming and cutting edge technology. Take a look at last year's Take Stock approved staff grants and be sure to donate to Take Stock through ParentVue today or at Back to School Night on Wednesday, August 28th! Celebrate Calm Presentations Are For Parents With Kids of All Ages Celebrate Calm Founder Kirk Martin, and his son, Casey, will provide parents and teachers with a dozen strategies that will eliminate defiance, disrespect, yelling, bullying, sibling fights and more that characterize our homes and classrooms.
