VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT
Carnival Volunteer Needs: Game Attendants 
With just over a week until the Morse Spring Carnival & Fun Run, we still have several volunteer slots that we need to fill. Volunteers will be entered into a drawing for a $200 Scheels gift card.
Adult Volunteer Needs (16+ can fill these spots)
  • 4:45-6:30pm--Dunk tank attendant (NOT in tank) and floater (make rounds/cover bio breaks)
  • 6:15-8:00pm--Cake walk attendant, floater, inflatable slide attendant, inflatable course attendant, inflatable pony attendant

Student Volunteer Needs
  • 4:30-6:45pm--Boom blaster balloon game attendant, inflatable slide attendant (prefer 16+), inflatable obstacle course attendant (prefer 16+), ski ball attendant
  • 6:30-8:30pm--Inflatable slide attendant (16+), inflatable obstacle course attendant (16+), inflatable pony hop attendant, plush piggy race attendant

One More PTO Position to Fill: VP Social Activities
VP Social Activities: This position helps to establish a balanced social event calendar by communicating with event chairs/committees. This person does NOT have to plan these events.  In addition, this position welcomes new families and encourages PTO membership by sending out a welcome letter at the beginning of the year (and as needed  throughout the year) as well as attending new family events, such as Kindergarten Coffee, as schedule allows. This position is a great opportunity to get to know more Morse families and can be learned quickly. 

Help Us Bring Back the Marksman to Close Out the Year
The weather is warming up, and we want to cheer on our students as they near the year's finish line. Help us bring the Morse Marksman to the last two Mondays of the year!  Your effort will bring guaranteed smiles on these final Morse Mondays. Check out the Sign-Up Genius to get your turn. ​

​Shop for Next Year's School Supplies: Price Increases after May 23rd
​SHOP NOW for next year's school supplies. Avoid the stores and get all of your school supply shopping done online. EPI school supply packs contain all of the items and brands our teachers require. Not only is it convenient for you, but it is a fundraiser to help our school. Each pack is delivered to school and available at School Supply Drop Off night. Order now with our School ID: MOR082 (3 letters, 3 numbers).  The prices increase after May 23rd, and final deadline to order is June 19th. Staff Appreciation Week Coming Soon: May 8-12
​Throughout the year we use Morse PTO dues to provide meals, treats, and supplies to our well-deserving teachers and staff at important times (such as beginning of year prep and conferences). During Staff Appreciation Week, we like to celebrate with many fun surprises for the Morse staff, to include this year a Sonic drink, taco truck lunch, specialized cookie and more! For as little as $5-$10, you can contribute to a gift card raffle or help fund the staff lunch. Click the sign-up genius below to contribute. Carnival Pre-Sales and Fun Run Registration CLOSE FRIDAY
Run registration as well as punchcard and wristband pre-sales are open until this Friday, April 28th. The Fun Run is a FREE one-mile event to students and family members and takes place in the Morse neighborhood. Click here for a map of the course.
  • Step 1: Register for the run. Help us plan for crowd control and safety by letting us know how many in your family will participate. You can register for the fun run in the same place you purchase your punchcards and wristbands. Click here to get started.
  •  Step 2: Arrive at 5:00pm to prepare for the race start. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to park. 
  • Step 3: Have fun! We will have volunteers along the course to cheer you on and water at the finish line. Law enforcement will be present along the course route for safety.  Once you finish, head to the carnival area for even MORE fun.

Trivia Night: THANK YOU!
Thanks so much for coming out to Trivia Night last week. We had a blast raising money for our library gazebo refresh project. Stay tuned for the total we raised as well as a thank you to our Trivia Night committee and donors! We are student centered, community strong.

In the next few days, you will be receiving the Morse PTO Board Ballot in your email. As currently all positions are running unopposed, you only need to respond by April 30th if you have concerns. PLEASE NOTE: We currently have no one for VP Social Activities. It is not too late to serve on the board: email us today to help fill a need. Click here to review the ballot.

For the 2023-2024 school year, becoming at PTO member now includes MORE great perks. Please note this change as you register for the upcoming year. Your $50 membership will now include:
  • 1 student directory
  • 1 yearbook (as a member, you can purchase additional yearbooks for $15)​
  • Option to serve on PTO board
