2 HOURS OF POWER VOLUNTEER CHALLENGE
We have MANY volunteer needs over the next month. We CHALLENGE you to sign up for AT LEAST ONE WAY to help our school community during this exciting and busy time! Give the Daddy-Daughter Dance Committee a Hand Denim and Pearls: Daddy-Daughter Dance is just 10 days away! The event committee could use some volunteers to put the finishing touches on this special night out for students and their families. Are you a whiz at balloon arches? Savvy with a camera? Available to help with set up? Visit the Sign-Up Genius to see the list of daddy-daughter dance needs. Carnival Help Needed The Morse Carnival is BACK and looking for volunteers. Three ways you can help:
Help Us Spoil the Morse Staff Staff Appreciation Week is May 2-6. After all the Morse staff has done to keep our kids healthy and happy this year, we look forward to recognizing their efforts all week. Looking Forward to Next Year We appreciate all of you who have volunteered your time and talents by signing up to join a committee or lead an event this year. RSVP for Daddy-Daughter Dance and Mother Son Events Get ready for a special night out with your student. The 2022 Daddy-Daughter Dance is on April 30th at Camelot Ballroom from 7:00-9:00pm, and the Mother-Son Event is on May 13th at AMF College Lanes from 6:00-8:00pm. Be sure to get your bowling night swag by purchasing a Morse tumbler and/or Mother-Son event water bottle stickers. The deadline for registering or purchasing for these events is TODAY. Visit the Morse PTO Events page to print an RSVP form, contact an event chair, or get more information. We recognize that this last nine weeks is packed with PTO fun, and we appreciate your attention to deadlines, your participation as we work to bring back events that have been cancelled or postponed for 2 years, and your generosity as you volunteer or donate. You Can Still Order Carnival Punchcards and Wristbands While t-shirt orders are closed, you CAN still order wristbands for inflatables, game punchcards, and dunk tank chances on the website until Friday, April 29th. Avoid the stores and get all of your school supply shopping done online. EPI school supply packs contain all of the items and brands our teachers require. Not only is it convenient for you, but it is a fundraiser to help our school. Each pack is delivered to school and available at School Supply Drop Off night. We are so grateful to those who attended and supported the Morse PTO Trivia Event: Night at the Movies. It was a smashing success and raised over $20,000 for new basketball hoops and soccer goals. Please take a moment to review our list of generous donors who made the event possible. Bravo!! Morse PTO 2022-2023 Board Positions Last call for volunteers who are interested in serving on the Morse PTO Board for the 2022-2023 school year. At present, all positions are running unopposed. To be eligible to run for a board position, you must currently be a member of the Morse PTO (meaning you paid the $30 PTO dues this school year). Since we will not be holding an election meeting in person, look for an email from Morse Elementary next week to complete the election process. Please email the Board if you are interested, have questions, or want more information. Family Fun Math Night--April 27th, 6:30-7:30pm at Morse Elementary Head back to school for a fun-filled night focused on math! Open your mind and eyes to the joy of mathematics through creative and engaging math tasks. Daddy/Daughter Dance--April 30th 7:00-9:00pm at Camelot Ballroom Wear your favorite fancy fit or attend in your comfiest jeans. Either way, plan on attending this year's Daddy/Daughter dance: Denim and Pearls. Morse Carnival--May 6th, 5:00-8:00pm at Morse Elementary Join us for this family fun event with food trucks, bounce houses, games, and more!
